Linguistic Place (repost from older blog)
(Originally posted on February 1st, 2006)
Here's question posted by my former professor Walter Williams at USC:
How would you like to be "labeled"? Though labeling carries negative connotation, he believes there ought to be a linguistic place for individuals, who are attracted to transgenders... well kinda like himself...
Common terms used nowadays include tg admirers, tranny chasers, or whatever!
During our casual dialogues, I came up with *stray* (for straight men), which connotates independent and alternative practices, like the stray-show! Or just plain old *stray* cats and dogs :D ha h... well... probably not the best term...
If u think of any terms that best describe your good self, please email walterlw@usc.edu!
