why was Miss California representing California?
well, i thought California in general as a state is more liberal than most of the other states on many social issues! why was she picked to represent me, us Californians? Like helloooooooooo

because prop 8 won during the election with a slim majority, but it did win
well, strictly speaking, if her answer was a "reflection" of the prop 8 result, she should have answered the question with far less of a conviction than she had shown during her Q&A. BTW we all know that the prop 8 result was botched and heavily influenced by out-of-state money! She does not represent me, nor most of the people whom I know here in SoCal!
